Havanas are bred in four colors; black, blue, broken and chocolate.. Their adult weight is between 4.5 and 6.5 pounds, so a little larger than a Mini Rex. They have great personalities, tend to be easy to handle, and make great kids' rabbits. They are also very good mothers and typically will have and raise much larger litters than other breeds their size. I raise blacks, blues and brokens of those colors, with a specialization in and emphasis on blues. I strive for a dark, deep blue color with good fur quality. I also am working on a new variety in Havanas- Lilacs. This color is a natural extention of the three solid colors we already have present in the Havana breed.
